Continuity means leaving yourself a clear record of the current choice, so you can return to it and revise it. The Current Direction Record is not a second project or a permanent identity. It holds what you are choosing now and why.

Use four questions:

  • What am I doing next?
  • Why does this make sense given the evidence?
  • What might it teach me?
  • When or under what condition will I review it?

For example: “I will check the current course timetable because schedule was the main barrier. I want to learn whether an accessible option exists. I will review the decision after I have that information.” This is smaller and more checkable than a five-year plan.

A review point can be a date you choose or a condition such as receiving new information. If you are still looking, name the unknown if useful. If you are pausing, the record can say what boundary the pause protects. Do not invent an action simply to make the record look complete.

Keep your limits and uncertainty visible. You can change the direction when circumstances or evidence change. No legacy blueprint, permanent calling, automatic progression, or business commitment is required.

Journal minimum: Save at least one short note in a Try or Reflect box for this lesson. You do not have to answer every question. Write what you noticed, a question, or what you still do not know. If you have not tried the activity, say so. You can use the example instead of personal details. This leaves something to return to in later lessons. Saving is not sharing.
