A branch helps you focus your question. It is not a ranking of worthwhile directions. Pathway, problem/opportunity, and continued exploration have equal legitimacy; business is not the “real” track.

The pathway branch investigates employment, education, trades, creative work, service, life-building, or another direction you name. Ask what the work involves, which conditions and requirements are real, and what an accessible first exposure could teach. For example, comparing a course’s actual schedule with your work hours checks fit more directly than imagining an ideal week.

The problem/opportunity branch investigates friction, workarounds, delays, missing access, existing solutions, and community assets. Ask who encounters the issue, when, who bears the cost, and whose perspective is missing. A repeated complaint can suggest a question; it does not automatically establish a market or justify a business.

The continued-exploration branch compares possibilities, gathers broader information, repeats a small exposure, or pauses. You can learn without selecting a direction.

Choose a branch that serves your current question, and keep the scope manageable. Do not present a learning conversation as formal research, treatment, employment, or a promised solution. Identifying or sensitive information needs an approved process. The outcome is an evidence note and a next choice—not a required offer or verdict.

Journal minimum: Save at least one short note in a Try or Reflect box for this lesson. You do not have to answer every question. Write what you noticed, a question, or what you still do not know. If you have not tried the activity, say so. You can use the example instead of personal details. This leaves something to return to in later lessons. Saving is not sharing.
