Your place in the tribe is a choice about contact, not a measure of loyalty. The three equal options are Stay close, Light touch, and Private / pause. Any next direction—work, study, a project, rest, or continued looking—can fit within any option.

Stay close means choosing active connection with the group. Light touch means choosing occasional updates or check-ins, where these are actually available. Private / pause means no contact or delayed contact. Proposed events or annual check-ins are not promises until arrangements are confirmed.

For example, someone can take a job and choose light-touch contact. Another person can continue a project and choose privacy. Neither choice says how much the program mattered to them.

If you want a role, options might include host, peer witness, or resource sharer. A role needs a clear scope, a time limit, and a way to stop. It does not automatically make you a mentor, counsellor, or source of unpaid labour. “None” and “not now” are complete choices.

Follow-up, media, evaluation, and events each have separate Yes / No / Not now permissions. You can change them later. No public story, permanent attendance, venture continuation, or automatic alumni enrolment is required. Community peer roles are not peer counselling.

Journal minimum: Save at least one short note in a Try or Reflect box for this lesson. You do not have to answer every question. Write what you noticed, a question, or what you still do not know. If you have not tried the activity, say so. You can use the example instead of personal details. This leaves something to return to in later lessons. Saving is not sharing.

This is an educational workbook, not therapy or treatment. Support and concern contacts are still being confirmed.
